But there's an easy, time-honored fix if you're game.

Just open the top and put a small piece of bread in the bottle.

Then cap it up and let stand for a day or two.

After 2 days, open the top, remove the bread, and swirl the "now loose" salt around in the bottle. 

It's ready to be used as salt, once again!
